Every other link of the bracelet holds a pearl, there are 14 pearls within the bracelet, which all by itself is a beautiful bracelet even without the charms. The bracelet measures 7.5" in length. The total weight of the bracelet with the charms is 86 grams. Each charm and the bracelet itself were all tested to be 14k gold. This was a continuing gift of adoration from a man to his beloved wife. There are 6 charms total, some inscribed with expressions of great affection. Each charm is described as follows. The 1.25"h heart charm is surrounded on the outside in pearls, with a pearl inside suspended from the inner top of the heart. The charm next to the heart is a 1.5" circular frame with a 3-D angel inside resting on a pearl cloud, and holding a 3-D 14k white gold with white topaz ring; the back inscription reads "THIS IS NO. 15....FOR MY NO.1 5-21-65". The next charm of a 3-D angel who holds two hearts with a ruby in the hearts is 1" in diameter; the back is inscribed "I met an Angel 10-26-47". The next charm is 1 and 1/8" in diameter and it is unusual in that it is double sided, one side shows a 3-D girl angel with sapphire eyes with the top inscribed "Gay" (? not sure of the first 2 letters) and the bottom of this side is inscribed "FOREVER"; the opposite side displays a 3-d devil with horns with ruby eyes - the top inscribed "Bob" and the bottom inscribed "TOGETHER". Very original and darling 2-sided charm. The 1" diameter cirucluar locket has an unusual safety clasp for a locket (it is the safety clasp usually used on bracelets), a center stone on the front (which I am not sure of the type - perhaps a jade), and it opens to a double locket which can display 4 pictures; inscribed on the back is "Mommy from Patty Joy 12-25-59". The sixth charm is my personal favorite: it is a 1.25" diameter circle holding a 3-D tree of life with three pearls in the tree's branches; the outer circular frame is inscribed "May we love as long as we live and live as long as we love". (Be still my heart - I want to remember this quote.) The back side of the tree of life charm is inscribed "It was four years ago 10-25-51 Remember?" Does it get any better than this for a love charm bracelet? I am mezmerized. The condition is excellent. Perhaps the very loved wife wore it rarely as there are no blemishes to report. There may be a bit of dirt on this after 40 years, but it sure looks fantastic. This was obtained from the original family, the daughter, of the adored wife. We welcome your questions.
