Mint condition or as new, as it was never worn (too heavy for my clothes - it's rgeat for coats or other sturdy fabrics - can also decorate a bag!), just tried on. Limited edition, comes with original Taupe Suedette-lined Box, Gucci Logo Pouch and leaflet. Made of Coloured heavy Crystals held by a metal wire. The leaflet that came with the brooch says this item is made of Sterling silver - but there are no silver hallmarks so i can't tell whether this leaflet was in the box by error, or that in italy they don't always stamp silver which is often true in costume-style jewellery. Silver does oxidise so it could give the metal it's yellow tone. The leaflet describes how to revive silver when it oxidises.  Six large faceted petals are of purpley-brown colour. It appears as very near black to dark purple, but when the light shines through it as on photo, you can see a brown tone. The centre is in contrast yellow, like Citrine, surrounded by rays of clear crystals graduating in size, with pale-lemon crystals and also purple cabochon-style ones in-between! The Pin works well and has a safety catch. Stamped at the back 'GUCCI Made in Italy' 8cm at widest, 'centrepiece' about 4cm. Weight 130 gram! Original price was around 950 pounds, I remember just under a thousand. Place a Bid!
