The beads are made up of silvered ivory, along with shades of opaque and transparent shades of blue, violet and amber, topped with Raku frit in varying sizes and streaks of black. Each bead is different, and packed with detail! Each of the squeezed beads is decorated with Kronos bubble dots. Some have trails of transparent bumps and/or edge decoration (raised decoration on both sides). Squeezed Beads: 26-28mm (1.05-1.15") hole-to-hole. Round Beads: approx. 9mm (0.35") hole-to-hole. My beads are made by me, Sarah Hornik, in my little home studio overlooking the Mediterranean sea in Tel Aviv, Israel. The beads are all handmade; no two are ever exactly alike. As I get bored easily, I never make the same set twice - so each bead set is truly unique!These beads were wound from Italian Effetre and Vetrofond glass, on 3/32" (2mm) mandrels. All my beads are annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, for maximum long life and durability. The beads’ holes are always cleaned thoroughly to get rid of excess bead release.
