The ultra-heavy gold case is engine turned on both sides and reeded along the outer rim. A push button which activates the center sweep and the 1/4-second appears on the rim of the case. The inner gold cuvette is signed “Matthey Jeantet Locle.” The spectacular 40 jewel two-train nickel bridge movement is also signed and numbered. It features a lever escapement with a counterpoised pallet fork and a steel escape wheel. The porcelain dial is signed and is centered by Breguet moon hands and a center sweep hand. The 1/4-second jump hand appears at the 6 o’clock position.
